Players must master how to keep their tongue inside the game at the right times and retract it fast if it gets caught in the mouths of the hovering flies. The objective is to accumulate points as quickly as possible by eating the most flies and reaching the maximum score of 3,000 points.
Using the keyboard, players can move the tongue by using the "A", "W", "S", and "D" keys, as well as the arrow keys. Players can also use the space bar to stick the tongue out of the screen and the "Esc" key to quit the game.
