Rail Runner is an exciting and thrilling game that puts you in the role of a rail runner. The challenge is to virtually perform extreme tricks and races against other players around the world. There are a wide variety of track and obstacles to choose from giving you the chance to create your own adventure. The game also has a campaign and split screen mode, so you can stay entertained for hours.
The controls in Rail Runner are quite straightforward. You can choose between two options: keyboard and mouse, or gamepad.
For keyboard gamers, the main movement controls are WASD or the arrow keys. To perform tricks, you can use the Space Bar or Enter key. To sprint, use the Shift key. The Q and E keys rotate the character for sharper turns. The number keys are used to select different tricks and stunts.
Gamepad users can control the character with the left analog stick and the A and B buttons to perform tricks and stunts. The RB and LB shoulder buttons are also used to rotate the character.
Rail Runner consists of multiple levels, with each one presenting different obstacles and challenges. As the player progresses, the levels become increasingly harder with more tricks, stunts and risks to overcome.
Throughout the levels, the player will face various objects and obstacles to jump over and perform stunts. Objects scattered through the levels can also provide boosts and power-ups.
The multiplayer mode allows players to compete against each other in real time. Players can choose from a selection of characters and areas to play in. Up to four players can join a single game at a time. The most popular game mode is Jump ‘n’ Smash, where players must compete to jump the highest and smash the most objects to win.
